Wildlife Explorer Backpack Program
We are thrilled to introduce our new "Wildlife Explorer Backpack Program." Through a partnership between the Hot Spring County Conservation District and the Malvern Rotary Club, we are providing 48 backpacks for students to use during wildlife exploration activities. Each backpack contains a butterfly net, insect capsule, tweezers, compass, binoculars, wildlife journal (for students to keep), collector box, and magnifying glass. These backpacks are available for rent at no cost, making it easy for students to participate in wildlife exploration activities. For now, the program is being launched specifically for students in 2nd through 4th grade in schools. We also offer this program for Sunday school classes, 4-H Clubs, and other organizations providing kids with a unique opportunity to engage with nature and develop their curiosity through hands-on learning. You may call or email to reserve these backpacks at 501-337-7381, ext. 3, or hsccd2023@gmail.com.
