Bismarck Library Annex
Nature Trail and Park
The Malvern-Hot Spring County Library purchased 6 acres in Bismarck to build a library and a park for the small rural community. While funding is being raised to build the building, the Library would like to make the property available to the community for much needed walking trails, an outdoor classroom, a kid park, and educational signage throughout the property about the native flora and fauna.

Assistance
The Hot Spring County Conservation District has helped play a role in enhancing the park’s future interactive nature trail by securing a Grants to District from the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Division. Soon the trail will offer visitors a more engaging and educational outdoor experience, helping connect the community with local natural resources.
Vision
This project will provide recreational opportunities for the rural community of Bismarck in the form of walking trails and an outdoor classroom. This funding has help begin the journey by helping to clear the overgrown brush and existing debris/brush piles on the property.
